A five week artist residency affords me the time and space to further explore ART+NATURE+WELLBEING as a powerful catalyst for people to slow down, feel centred and invoke a deep sense of release. Hand Bent Banana Arts and Health Centre is a new arts hub in Tallebudgera Valley providing an artistic way of looking at the world, through connection with the natural environment. It is a unique place-based Centre in the Hinterland region of the Gold Coast and fills a gap to learn about the diverse landscape and geology, connections to the land and our disappearing agricultural heritage.
