Working with the theme “Maintaining Wellbeing in a Time Unprecedented” the spread of coronavirus has introduced new concepts like social distancing and self-quarantine. I know people are feeling anxious, frightened and frustrated. Because humans are social creatures we need to find ways to keep social distancing from becoming social isolation.

One way is to use video to create an immersive experience. SO I’ve produced a collection of short videos to use as anxiety breaks. They feature tranquil scenes of nature, which research tells us, restores attention and increases a sense of calm and wellbeing. In fact you could think of it as meditation with your eyes open.

LULL - let the gentle sounds of early morning birds and waves lapping LULL you like a sweet lullaby. This meditation with your eyes open was videoed at Lameroo Beach in the Northern Territory. https://youtu.be/sS1wGxtHi1U

SOAR - ever wanted to fly away, leaving all your troubles behind? SOAR high above the Adelaide River with these flocks of Magpie Geese and Cockatiels and feel your mind settle.  https://youtu.be/EqEj8ng8Q2k

GROVE - sitting in a GROVE of trees noticing the soft buzz of bees and the gentle breeze swaying the branches. This meditation with your eyes open was videoed at Canaipa (Russell Island) and in my garden.  https://youtu.be/eap5qSPASWE
